Chromatic

Um universo de cores vibra através de imagens gráficas e repletas de camadas, Chromatic é composta por formações abstratas que delimitam os caminhos da cor, que se misturam e se multiplicam em um movimento elástico.

Usando fenômenos físicos e químicos como pesquisa, Bruno Militelli realiza a série Chromatic a partir do derretimento de uma película plástica e do uso de filtros polarizadores, que selecionam determinadas frequências de cor e possibilitam que novas sejam visualizadas. O resultado dessa experimentação une tonalidades, luzes e matéria, como se esses três elementos se fundissem e se transformassem juntos, fazendo com que as massas de cor acompanhem as curvas pontiagudas do plástico derretido.

Com o objetivo de explorar a intensidade, variedade e formação espontânea de cores, o artista busca trazer para os olhos o que eles não podem ver sozinhos.

A universe of colors vibrates through graphic and layered images. Chromatic is composed of abstract formations that delimit the paths of color, which blend and multiply in an elastic movement.

Using physical and chemical phenomena as research, Bruno Militelli creates the Chromatic series by melting a plastic film and using polarizing filters that select certain color frequencies and make new ones visible. The result of this experimentation combines hues, light, and matter, as if these three elements merged and transformed together, causing masses of color to follow the sharp curves of the melted plastic.

With the aim of exploring the intensity, variety, and spontaneous formation of colors, the artist seeks to bring to the eyes what they cannot see alone.
